Process A to Z

The following guide outlines how to start a case with the Anboini system.

Process A to Z - Anboini

How to Start a Cace with Anboini System

  • Step 1 - Order

The Anboini System fabrication process begins with the impression and lab order form.

  • Step 2 - Model checking

A model of the malocclusion is created from the impression. The impression/model is checked for quality before moving through the rest of the process.

  • Step 3 - Setup model

According to the doctor’s individual order form and Andrews’ Six Keys, high-quality manual setup model is produced.

  • Step 4 - Setup review

In this step, you can communicate directly with the Anboini lab, view the setup and revise so you can get to a best result. The setup review is provided via digital photos that compare the malocclusion to the setup model.

  • Step 5 - Bracket customization

Anboini lingual brackets are produced using metal injection molding (MIM), which have smooth contours and accurate slot tolerances. Using the special bracket-placement equipment, the brackets are bonded to the ideal setup with a light-cured resin. The torque, in-out, and angulation of each bracket are customized, based on the unique prescription for each patient. Customized torque and in-out are built into resin on each bracket base.

  • Step 6 - Individual transfer tray

In Anboini system, individual transfer tray is made directly from the setup model to transfer the brackets precisely and efficiently to the patient’s mouth. Compared to transfer tray for groups of adjacent teeth, individual transfer tray offers enhanced accuracy, capability of being applied to all cases, and reproducibility of the ideal position for each bracket. If the positions of the teeth are changed with any adjunctive intraoral appliances, such as a rapid maxillary expansion (RME) appliance or quad-helix, then group transfer trays cannot be applied whereas the individual transfer trays can be so used. Should a bracket become debonded in the course of treatment, the individual transfer tray furnishes a significant advantage in allowing simplified rebonding of an individual bracket in its ideal position.

  • Step 7 - Preformed straight archwire

From the setup, Anboini lingual bracket is individualized for each tooth while simultaneously the size of lingual straight archwire is determined for each arch. In Anboini system, 3 types (small, medium, and large) of the preformed lingual straight archwire are prepared, and one of them is used for maxilla and/or mandible during treatment. Anboini preformed lingual straight archwire makes treatment more convenient.

  • Step 8 - Shipping

The Anboini system that includes customized brackets, preformed lingual straight archwires, and individual transfer tray is shipped to the orthodontist for best treatment result.
